Step into a pivotal role where your expertise will shape the future of technology at MSWA. As Insights and Enablement Manager, you’ll lead the charge in strengthening cybersecurity, managing risk, and embedding a culture of digital safety across the organisation.
This is a permanent, fulltime role, based out of our Rivervale office.
You’ll lead the development and implementation of strategies across data governance, cybersecurity, and artificial intelligence—ensuring our systems are not only secure and compliant but also optimised for insight and innovation.
You’ll take ownership of our data strategy—building robust governance, ensuring privacy compliance, and delivering powerful insights that drive smarter decisions.
On the cutting edge of innovation, you’ll guide the ethical use of AI, championing tools that boost productivity and keep MSWA ahead of the curve.
You’ll collaborate across departments to identify opportunities where GenAI and data can streamline operations, enhance reporting, and support smarter, faster decisions. Your leadership will ensure that MSWA’s data is accessible, reliable, and ethically managed — fuelling our mission and protecting our reputation.
As a strategic leader, you’ll inspire continuous improvement, mentor teams, and align technology initiatives with our mission to support people living with neurological conditions.
Our 'must' haves:
- Tertiary qualifications in maths, finance, IT, computer science, economics, business, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of cloud and on-premises data systems, data processing, and software engineering.
- Proficient in data querying languages, especially SQL.
- Familiarity with Generative AI tools and their business applications.
- Experience with Azure and AWS environments, including tools like Azure Synapse, Azure SQL DB, Azure Purview, ADLS Gen2, and Data Lake architectures.
- Skilled in DevOps/DataOps tools such as GitHub, Azure DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines.
Our 'nice to' haves: - ITIL knowledge and analytics/reporting certifications.
- Experience in not-for-profit and/or NDIS environments.
- Skilled in data extraction from tools like Palo Alto and Meraki.
- Proficient in ETL tools and SQL-based data transformation.
- Strong background in data, cyber, and AI governance.
- Knowledge of security frameworks (CIS, ISO) and legacy tech (SQL Server, SSIS).
- Experience building data pipelines and using data profiling tools.
- Skilled in complex data analysis and improving data quality.
