In this fulfilling role, you’ll be at the heart of delivering comprehensive OT services for individuals living with neurological conditions such as Multiple Sclerosis (MS), Motor Neurone Disease (MND), Parkinson’s, Huntington’s, Stroke, and Acquired Brain Injuries.
You’ll collaborate closely with clients to develop personalised interventions, empower them to achieve their goals, and enhance their independence in daily life. You’ll also help people manage fatigue, sleep disturbances, cognitive changes, and introduce advanced assistive technology solutions to improve their quality of life.

How You'll Contribute: - Comprehensive Assessments: Conduct detailed OT assessments in a variety of settings, including homes and workplaces, addressing daily living, physical, sensory, and cognitive needs.
- Collaborative Care: Work closely with clients, families, and external stakeholders (including equipment suppliers) to design and implement effective interventions and facilitate equipment provision.
- Navigate Funding Models: Demonstrate expertise in managing and navigating funding models to ensure clients receive the equipment they need.
- Palliative Care Sensitivity: Offer support with sensitivity and competence to clients requiring palliative care, ensuring dignity and comfort in their final stages.
- Accurate Documentation: Maintain precise, up-to-date client records to ensure high-quality, continuous care.
- Mentorship: Share your knowledge by mentoring OT students, OTAs, and volunteers, contributing to the development of future OT professionals.
Essential Requirements: - Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy (or equivalent qualification).
- Registration: Current registration with AHPRA.
- Driver’s License: Valid Australian "C" Class Driver's License (with no restrictions).
- NDIS Worker Screening Check: (or willingness to obtain).
- First Aid & CPR Certification: Current First Aid certificate (we can help here if not).
