About the Role
As a Finance Transformation Specialist, you’ll play a key role in improving how finance functions operate across Corporate Travel Management (CTM). Combining analytical thinking with practical transformation experience, you’ll identify opportunities to improve processes, optimise operating models and deliver more efficient, effective and scalable finance operations.
Working within our dedicated Finance Transformation team, you’ll partner with finance stakeholders, operational teams and third-party providers to assess end-to-end processes, analyse performance data, identify root causes and develop practical recommendations that deliver measurable improvements.
Reporting to the Head of Finance Transformation, you’ll work alongside transformation leaders and finance subject matter experts to support the design and delivery of strategic initiatives across the finance function.
What You’ll Do
- Process Improvement: Assess end-to-end finance processes to identify inefficiencies, control gaps, duplication and opportunities to improve performance across areas such as accounts payable, accounts receivable and financial reporting.
- Operating Model Optimisation: Analyse existing operating models, workflows, roles and responsibilities to develop recommendations that improve efficiency, accountability and service delivery.
- Data Analysis & Insights: Analyse operational and financial data to identify trends, quantify improvement opportunities, investigate root causes and support evidence-based decision-making.
- Transformation Delivery: Translate findings into actionable improvement initiatives, supporting the development of business cases, implementation plans, process documentation and standardised ways of working.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Work collaboratively with finance leaders, subject matter experts, operational teams and external partners to validate findings, build alignment and support the adoption of new processes and operating models.
About You You’re an analytical, commercially minded professional who combines structured problem-solving with the ability to turn complex operational challenges into practical, measurable improvements. You’re comfortable engaging stakeholders at different levels, challenging existing ways of working and driving initiatives from analysis through to implementation.
You’ll ideally bring:
- Relevant Experience: At least four years of experience in management consulting, finance transformation, continuous improvement or a similar discipline, with demonstrated involvement in process improvement and operating model initiatives.
- End-to-End Process Expertise: Experience analysing and improving complex business processes, ideally across finance functions such as procure-to-pay, order-to-cash, record-to-report or financial planning and analysis.
- Strong Analytical Skills: The ability to interpret complex data, identify patterns and root causes, quantify opportunities and translate insights into clear recommendations.
- Operating Model & Transformation Capability: Experience assessing current-state operations, designing future-state processes and operating models, and supporting the delivery of transformation initiatives.
- Stakeholder Management: Strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to engage finance leaders, subject matter experts and operational teams to build alignment and deliver outcomes.
- Structured Problem-Solving: A logical, proactive and solutions-focused approach, with the confidence to challenge assumptions and recommend practical improvements.
- Change & Implementation: The ability to translate recommendations into actionable plans and support the implementation and adoption of improved processes and ways of working.
- Relevant Qualifications: A degree in Business, Finance, Commerce, Accounting or a related discipline is desirable.
Experience in a consulting environment at Senior Consultant or Manager level, or deep end-to-end expertise within a finance function, will be highly regarded.
Experience in a multinational or complex operating environment, particularly within travel, hospitality or transport, would also be advantageous.
