About the Role
We're looking for someone who enjoys solving complex business problems. You'll identify specialist government travel opportunities that sit outside traditional travel management. Design innovative service solutions, build the commercial case, and lead cross-functional teams to successfully implement new travel programs for some of Australia's largest government agencies.
- The Manager Specialist Travel Programs is responsible for identifying, qualifying, designing and delivering specialist travel programs that sit outside CTM's traditional TMC services.
- Owns the complete opportunity lifecycle from customer engagement and opportunity qualification through solution design, Authority to Proceed, commercial proposal development, governance approval, implementation and transition to business-as-usual.
- Partners with Government customers and internal stakeholders to develop innovative travel solutions that create sustainable revenue opportunities while supporting successful operational delivery and exceptional customer outcomes.
About You - Tertiary qualification in Project Management, Travel, Logistics or a related discipline, or equivalent industry experience.
- Demonstrated experience designing customer-specific service solutions, leading complex projects and engaging senior stakeholders.
- Highly desirable: Corporate travel management experience, Government travel programs, group travel, meetings and events, project travel and/or charter operations.
- Experience working with Government clients or highly regulated environments is highly regarded.
- Demonstrated experience leading executive-level stakeholder discussions, with the ability to articulate and promote the strategic and operational benefits of project delivery across Government sectors.
- Proven ability to identify, assess and mitigate project and operational risks, while recognising opportunities to enhance client outcomes and deliver additional value through TMC solutions and services.
- Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to balance client objectives, contractual obligations and business outcomes while identifying opportunities for growth and continuous improvement.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and present business cases, project proposals and implementation strategies to senior client stakeholders.
- Experience identifying business development opportunities and supporting the growth of strategic client relationships through successful project delivery.
