About the Role
The Revenue Analyst plays a critical role within CTM's Finance & FP&A function, providing data driven insights that support commercial decision-making across the business. This role is responsible for analysing revenue trends, client profitability, and market dynamics — including airfare pricing, travel supplier economics, and corporate travel spend — to inform strategic planning and operational performance management.
Responsibilities and Duties
Revenue Reporting & Analysis
• Prepare and maintain regular revenue reports across business units, regions, and client segments
• Analyse revenue variances against budget and prior year, identifying key drivers and emerging trends
• Monitor transaction margins, supplier override income, and fee revenue streams
• Produce monthly and quarterly revenue packs for senior leadership and other internal stakeholders
Commercial & Client Insights
• Conduct client-level profitability analysis to support account management and renewal decisions
• Analyse travel spend patterns, category mix, and booking behaviour to identify revenue optimisation opportunities
• Support pricing reviews, RFP modelling, and contract assessment for new and existing clients
Supplier Override Receipting & Reconciliation
• Manage end-to-end receipting of supplier override income, including airline, hotel, car rental, and ancillary travel partners
• Reconcile override statements received from suppliers against internal booking data and Manage end-to-end receipting of supplier override income, including airline, hotel, car rental, and ancillary travel partners
• Identify and investigate variances between expected and received override income, escalating disputes where required
• Maintain an override income register, tracking accruals, receipts, and outstanding balances by supplier and period
• Liaise with supplier account managers and CTM's commercial team to resolve discrepancies and recover underpayments
• Support the month-end close process by ensuring override accruals are accurately reflected
• Contribute to the review and optimisation of supplier contract terms to maximise override yield
• Provide analysis on market movements (e.g. fuel surcharges, yield shifts) and their impact on CTM revenue
Planning & Forecasting Support
• Contribute to the annual budgeting process by assisting with bottom-up revenue models by segment and client
• Maintain rolling revenue forecasts, incorporating actuals and forward bookings data
• Support scenario and sensitivity analysis for strategic planning purposes
Data & Systems
• Extract, transform, and interpret data from GDS platforms, internal booking systems, and financial reporting tools
• Develop and maintain Excel models, Power BI dashboards, or equivalent tools for revenue tracking
• Ensure data integrity and consistency across reporting outputs
Stakeholder Engagement
• Partner with commercial, operations, and client services teams to provide financial insight and decision support
• Present analysis clearly and concisely to non-financial stakeholders
• Respond to ad hoc analysis requests from the GM FP&A and other internal stakeholders
