About the Role
The purpose of the role of Executive Assistant (EA) is to provide high-quality administrative, governance and paralegal support to the Board and the Group Chief Legal Officer and Company Secretary (Group CLO) to ensure the efficient operation of the Board, Legal and Company Secretary team. This integral role will prioritise the provision of support to the Board and Group CLO to ensure they enhance governance, efficiency and productivity.
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as an paralegal, executive assistant or similar role, including supporting C suite and the Board.
- Proven success in collaborating with key stakeholders, demonstrating exceptional communication, relationship management and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in office software (e.g., Microsoft Office suite) and office equipment, including demonstrated ability to research or learn new ways of applying technology.
- Discretion and confidentiality in handling sensitive information and documents.
- Strong organisational skills an ability to manage competing priorities.
- Demonstrated ability to write in a clear, professional, concise and easy to understand language, coupled with proficiency in grammar, punctuation, writing, editing, layout and design.
- Demonstrated ability to adapt writing and speaking style to all audiences, including executive and senior leaders, Board members, and all other employees.
- Ability to work at pace, and work well under pressure to meet tight deadlines across multiple projects simultaneously (effective planning, resource utilisation, and status reporting), and work flexible hours across global time zones, while meeting deadlines.
- Proactive, autonomous, self-starter who is self-direct and can prioritise, be resourceful, be adaptable, initiate ideas, use judgement and initiative, effectively plan and problem-solve.
