About the Role
The Marketing Specialist is responsible for supporting the development and delivery of the CTM Group’s marketing and communications strategy in Australia & New Zealand, across all local business lines (corporate, events, leisure, loyalty).
A key focus of the marketing team’s output is in building brand awareness and driving lead generation as the company seeks to maintain its position as one of the best travel management providers in the region. The Marketing Specialist is responsible for executing regional strategies that align with the CTM Group’s global and regional growth goals, and for the effective implementation and analysis of all marketing and communications initiatives which support these goals.
The Marketing Specialist reports directly to the Marketing Manager and is supported by, and works in collaboration with, CTM’s Global Marketing Team. The role will be required to adapt and implement globally-driven marketing projects in the AU/NZ markets as well as develop regionally specific campaigns and content in collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute marketing strategy and activity to align with current and evolving business objectives, as directed by the Marketing Manager
- Reporting on brand awareness and lead generation activity
- Day-to-day use of digital marketing platforms, including websites/CMS, social media, email and advertising channels to ensure maximum engagement
- Day-to-day use of digital marketing automation software, Marketo
- Development and delivery of regional content pieces to support brand awareness, lead- generation and customer engagement, including content research and writing
- Develop and delivery of internal and external corporate communications in collaboration with Marketing Manager
- Mentor and support junior team members and new hires as required
Skills & Experience - Minimum 5 years’ marketing experience – with demonstrable expertise in digital marketing, communications and brand management
- Highly experienced working with digital marketing platforms including Wordpress CMS, Marketo automation software (preferable), social media management tools, website analytics (GA4)
- Excellent writing skills and ability to plan and curate strategic content
- Excellent communication skills – the ability to work with and influence a broad range of stakeholders
- Strong understanding of brand principles, sales pipelines and audience segmentation
- Ability to adapt strategy at speed to meet evolving business objectives
- Strong data analysis skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Must thrive in working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
