Finance Officer role working in a great finance team in the corporate travel industry

About the role
This role will ensure the timely, efficient, and accurate processing of Invoices/Accounts Payable transactions within agreed trading terms; and monitoring of adherence to Group & Finance policies in relation to those transactions. The role requires excellent time management and communication skills, a strong eye for detail and the ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision. The role supports the processing of large volumes of transactions, actively reviews, suggests, and implements improvements to existing processes whilst working with operational teams across the business. Meeting monthly deadlines is of upmost importance to ensure the Finance Department is achieving its operational and strategic goals and ensuring all payments are
made in accordance with policies and procedures.
Responsibilities and Duties
• Processing a high volume of invoices/chargebacks in a timely manner
• Processing client refunds
• Manage Payments email inbox and resolve payment discrepancies in a timely
manner
• Deliver a high standard of communication and customer service to internal and external customers and colleagues by email and phone
• Challenge the current processes and look for continuous improvement opportunities

• Thorough, accurate, with strong attention to detail
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Team player, with a strong work ethic -dependable, timely and punctual
• Enthusiasm for delivering exceptional service
• Able to work individually demonstrating initiative, but also willing and capable to work as part of a team
• A relevant Certificate/Diploma/Degree (or studying towards) would be advantageous however not essential.
• Intermediate level experience in the Microsoft Office Suite, internet, and email systems
