About the Role
The Business Analyst will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions, driving the delivery of innovative products that enhance customer experience and operational efficiency.
This role is ideal for someone passionate about travel technology, with a strong background in requirements gathering, stakeholder collaboration, and delivering high-quality digital solutions.
Role and Responsibilities
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to understand business objectives, customer pain points, and technology requirements.
- Translate business requirements into clear and concise user stories, functional specifications, and process flows.
- Partner closely with Product Owners, Developers, and UX/UI Designers to ensure requirements are accurately implemented.
- Facilitate backlog refinement sessions and contribute to sprint planning.
- Perform gap analysis and recommend improvements to existing systems and processes.
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes and drive efficiency across product development lifecycles.
Skills & Experience - A good understanding of Sabre (or Other GDS) would be preferred
- Strong business analysis skills – gathering requirements, liaising with vendors; process analysis as well as data analysis
- At least 5 years as a Business Analyst, preferably in travel technology, SaaS, or digital product environments.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working within Agile frameworks.
- Proven experience in requirements gathering, process mapping, and writing user stories.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience using tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and wireframing tools.
- Familiarity with travel booking systems, GDS platforms, or proprietary travel technologies is highly desirable.
