RNA Australia will lead the development of a robust RNA research and development ecosystem in NSW and nationally. The company was established in March 2023 as a joint venture between the NSW Government and five founding university members.
RNA Australia is seeking a dynamic world-leading CEO to implement the new facility and facilitate the opportunity to access an open-source GMP Facility (from 2025) aimed at scaling and producing RNA therapeutics for clinical trials.
You will be responsible for leading the development and execution of the Company’s long-term strategy to create member value, overseeing the agreement with the commercial operator of the RNA Pilot and Manufacturing Facility and working with the Board on the Company’s fundraising activities.
* Collaboration and partnership with industry and universities.
* Lead Intellectual property development with support from the RNA ecosystems.
* Drive Investment in RNA developments and other related activities.
Your brief is to achieve commercialisation by promoting collaboration and innovation within the five founding university partners to drive the development and transfer of assets. Applications in healthcare, biosecurity and agriculture will be advanced.
With a proven track record in leading teams in life sciences or other technology sectors, coupled with your expertise in RNA technology, tech transfer, and/or manufacturing, you are uniquely qualified to drive innovation and growth. Your achievements have been forged in dynamic, high-growth companies.
