Working collaboratively with the Board, you offer strong and clear leadership within IDV, and among all of its external stakeholders. Your operational skills and strategic capabilities will ensure growth, and you will actively contribute to the plan which will be implemented under your stewardship.

Established in 1954 IDV is a not for profit community service organisation dedicated to delivering support services to people with disabilities in the Northern metropolitan region. IDV is one of the largest not-for profit organisations in the northern regions, delivering services predominantly throughout the municipalities of Banyule, Nillumbik, Darebin and Whittlesea.
IDV currently supports approximately 150 people with a disability to realise and achieve their goals and aspirations with a strong emphasis on community. Our objective is to work with our community partners, to provide sustainable and meaningful opportunities for people with disabilities. IDV is searching for a high calibre CEO to join the organisation as it moves towards a new decade in disability services.
The CEO responsible for the management of the organisation and its operations by way of delegated authority from the IDV Board, or as expressed in the organisation’s constitution. The CEO is expected to provide management oversight and responsibility across IDV to ensure the effective and efficient functioning of IDV. The CEO needs to provide strong and clear leadership within IDV, its people and to our external stakeholders. The CEO must always to act and behave with integrity and in accordance with IDV’s code of conduct and values.
