We are seeking an exceptional Chief Executive Officer to lead UMFC into its next chapter, strengthening culture, capability and sustainability while remaining deeply grounded in community outcomes.
The opportunity Reporting to a skills-based Board, the CEO will provide strategic, cultural, operational and commercial leadership across a complex, multi-service organisation. This is a highly visible regional leadership role requiring confident stakeholder engagement and a strong internal leadership presence.
What you will bring
- Senior executive leadership experience in community services, human services, children and family services, legal assistance, health or a related service delivery environment
- Proven capability leading in complex, multi-site organisations with multiple funding sources while maintaining quality service delivery
- Strong business and strategic acumen in budgeting, sustainability, planning and performance management (ideally in a not-for-profit/government-funded context)
- High emotional intelligence and exceptional communication skills across staff, funders, government, partners, media and community stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams through change, building strong culture and successful teams
- Sound understanding of governance and effective Board partnership
- Qualifications in Health Services, Psychology, Law, MBA or similar will be well regarded (or equivalent senior leadership experience)
Location This position is based in the Albury–Wodonga region. The successful candidate will be expected to live locally and be visibly present across UMFC services and communities. Relocation support is available.
