Job Title: Toolmaker
Location: Adelaide, SA
Salary: Commensurate with experience
Work Set-up: Full-time | On-site | Afternoon Shift: Monday to Thursday, 3:00pm - 11:30pm, Friday 3:00pm - 9:00pm
 
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Toolmaker to join a dynamic and established team. In this role, you will be responsible for precision toolmaking, repairs, and maintenance to support high-quality production across multiple industries.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out bench-based toolmaking tasks, including accurate repair, inspections, and change-outs of existing tools
• Operate manual machines such as lathes, mills, grinders, and drill presses
• Inspect and quality-check finished parts to ensure compliance with specifications
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by providing constructive feedback on processes
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment in line with health and safety protocols

 
Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years' experience as a Bench Toolmaker
• Proven die polishing experience
• Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings and specifications
• Strong attention to detail with a quality-driven approach
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively to achieve production targets
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills and proactive mindset towards continuous improvement
• Forklift licence (advantageous, but not essential)
• Relevant trade qualification or formal training in Toolmaking
