Senior Hardware Engineer (High-Speed Digital / PCB Design)

The Role:

• Lead PCB design for ASIC and FPGA-based systems
• Design and develop high-speed digital hardware (10/25GbE, PCIe Gen5)
• Own schematic capture and PCB layout, from concept through to production
• Define and implement thermal and power strategies for global data centre deployments
• Collaborate with ASIC teams to influence silicon design decisions
• Manage external design partners and manufacturing vendors
• Oversee prototype bring-up, testing, and system characterisation

What You’ll Bring:

• 5+ years hardware design experience
• Experience with high-speed PCB design (Altium Designer)
• Experience with Signal Integrity (SI) and Power Integrity (PI)
• Hardware bring-up, test, and characterisation experience
• Production and manufacturing processes experience
• Experience delivering reliable, production-grade hardware systems
• A practical, solutions-focused mindset with strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team

Nice to Have:

• RF system experience
• Programming skills (Python, C/C++)
• FPGA/RTL development (Verilog, VHDL, SystemVerilog)
