Job Title: CNC Machinist / Toolmaker (All Levels)

We are seeking CNC Machinists and Toolmakers (Junior to Senior levels) to join a highly skilled production team.

This role will see you working across CNC machining and/or precision toolmaking, contributing to the manufacture, repair, and optimisation of high-quality components and tooling.

Whether you are an experienced machinist/toolmaker or a junior looking to grow your career, you will play a key role in delivering precision, efficiency, and first-time-right manufacturing outcomes.

• Set up and operate CNC machines (lathes and milling machines – 3, 4, 5-axis)
• Perform manual machining and bench toolmaking tasks (lathes, mills, grinders, drills)
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
• Conduct dimensional inspections and quality checks
• Repair, maintain, and modify tools, dies, and fixtures
• Select and use appropriate measuring equipment
• Ensure adherence to quality, safety, and production standards
• Identify and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
• Maintain accurate production and machine records
  
  

Qualifications:

• Experience operating CNC lathes and/or milling machines
• Exposure to multi-axis machining (3, 4, or 5-axis advantageous)
• Strong understanding of machining tolerances and materials

• Experience in bench toolmaking, die maintenance, and repairs
• Manual machining capability and tool finishing (e.g. polishing)

• Trade qualification (Certificate III in Engineering – Machining, Toolmaking, or equivalent) or apprenticeship completion
• Junior candidates and recent apprentices are encouraged to apply
• Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude
• Ability to interpret technical drawings
• Safety-focused with a proactive and team-oriented mindset
• Good communication and reliability
