Backend Engineer – API & System Integration

Build the engine room of an automation platform — from APIs and data flows to integrating with enterprise systems.

• 5+ years of software development experience
• Design and implement scalable, secure APIs to power data and user interaction
• Orchestrate backend systems, session management, and authentication
• Integrate external tools and platforms through robust API pipelines
• Work closely with front-end and ML teams to ensure seamless communication
• Use Python, Node.js, or Go in a serverless/cloud-native environment (GCP, Cloud Functions, Firestore, Pub/Sub)
• ERP or enterprise integration experience is a plus

You must have working rights in Australia: Australian citizenship, permanent residency, or a suitable working visa. We cannot provide sponsorship for this role.

The role is fully onsite at the company offices in Castle Hill.
