Job Title: Technical Sales Support Engineer (ESS)
Location: Melbourne, Australia
Salary: Competitive salary package 
Work Set-up: Full-time, on-site
 
 
About the Role:
As a Technical Sales Support Engineer (ESS), you will play a key role in post-sales technical support for energy storage and management products. You'll act as a liaison between customers and internal teams, helping to resolve technical issues, contribute to product development, and provide training and demonstrations at industry events.
 
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Provide expert technical presale and post-sales support for ESS and energy management solutions
• Use CRM and service management tools to manage support cases and maintain accurate customer records
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to relay customer insights and support continuous improvement
• Conduct training sessions on products and support resources
• Represent the company at trade shows and events, delivering live demonstrations and technical assistance
• Contribute to internal documentation, FAQs, and knowledge base resources
• Ensure data accuracy within CRM systems

 
Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• At least 3-5 years of experience in a presale and post-sales technical support role, preferably involving solar or ESS products
• Strong understanding of residential solar inverter technologies (grid-tied and hybrid)
• Good knowledge of residential battery systems and their installation requirements
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• SAA Design Certification is a plus
• Must have full working rights in Australia
