Responsibilities
The individual’s primary responsibility will be to work as part of the valuation team and assist with the valuation of portfolio assets within their private-equity funds and other funds in the U.S. and Europe.

• Perform analysis on financial statements, general economic conditions, industry-specific conditions and developments, acquisitions, divestitures, and various investment attributes of publicly traded and private securities.
• Ensure that valuations are consistent with legal and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare key valuation reports used by executive management for quarterly portfolio reviews.
• Ensure that financial back-up for key inputs used in our valuation models are properly documented in our files.
• Assist with the coordination and administration of the private equity valuation function, such as interacting with accounting/marketing/legal departments, investment teams, external auditors, and valuation firms.
• Assist with other ad hoc projects

• 2-3 years of valuation experience within valuation/appraisal, Big Four, or another financial advisory firm.
• Big Four experience is a plus
• Excellent analytical skills with a solid understanding of finance and accounting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

• Highly motivated with an exceptional work ethic, and a demonstrated ability and desire to work cooperatively with team members and client professionals
• Self-starter with a proven ability to take initiative
• Outstanding organization skills with high attention-to-detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• CPA or CFA a plus.
