Our client is looking to hire a senior compensation analyst to work on the compensation team within the Human Resources function.
The Senior Compensation Analyst's responsibilities will include:
- Participation in the development, deployment and administration of compensation plans that are fair, competitive, supportive of organizational strategies and compliant with company direction, local laws, pay equity or other statutory requirements
- Partnering with the Head of Compensation to analytically execute annual compensation processes including, but not limited to, compensation program design, budgeting, implementation of new programs and other ad-hoc requests
- Help in managing the annual year-end compensation planning process, including modeling & analytics, and reporting process while partnering with HR business partners and other colleagues to facilitate recommendations and pay actions
- Conducting benchmarking analyses using external market surveys; Working with external providers and consultants on internal data submissions
- Partnering with the Talent team to craft communications related to annual compensation planning, compensation analyses and related initiatives
- Supporting and advising on compensation related activities, including new hire offers, promotions, transfers, budget allocation/forecasting and top talent retention
- Developing and documenting procedures to streamline processes and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
Experience required - A Bachelor's degree and a minimum 3-5 years or more of post-college experience in internal compensation-related role or compensation consulting
- Results and detail oriented/driven, with strong analytical, organizational, and consultancy skills; Ability to draw conclusions, themes, and trends from data analysis and communicate results effectively
- Flexible and able to adapt to a fast-paced and changing work environment with a high level of dedication and commitment to quality work product
- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and work under time constraints, managing to due dates and timelines
- Ability to work collaboratively and cultivate strong partnerships with HR partners and colleagues
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office required; Analytical experience strongly preferred (e.g., numerical research, data analysis, Excel modeling)
- Working knowledge of Workday and/or Beqom software platforms a plus
