They are seeking a Compliance Manager to serve as a Fair Credit Reporting Act subject matter expert that will guide business teams as they deliver awesome for their customers. The Compliance Manager will report to the Head of Consumer Protection and will manage compliance with the Fair Credit Reporting Act and its implementing regulations across multiple business units and product offerings.
Provide effective oversight appropriate to the nature, size, complexity and scope of our client's FCRA-related business activities.
Identify and manage regulatory changes, assisting product owners to develop creative solutions to address requirements associated with new and existing products.
Assist in the execution of the annual risk assessment and contribute to the enhancement of the Compliance Management System through issues management and policy updates.
Help drive the mindset that Compliance is a strategic advantage, enabling growth and customer delight
Bachelor’s Degree with 5+ years professional experience, or equivalent experience; 3+ years’ experience in Compliance preferred.
CRCM or other professional certifications preferred.
Deep subject matter knowledge of the FCRA, and familiarity with applicable federal and state regulations such as, ECOA, UDAAP, GLBA, and other Consumer Protection and Financial Privacy Laws.
Experience building Compliance Management Systems and scaling internal controls to drive impactful results.
Ability to synthesize complex regulatory requirements and translate them into action for cross-functional stakeholders.
Creative thinker, able to support innovation while managing risk.
Ability to work independently – self-starter, enthusiastic and highly motivated.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to exercise sound judgment in developing balanced solutions.
