The Sr. Compliance Manager will report to the Head of Commercial Lending Compliance and will have responsibility for oversight of servicing and sales.

Providing compliance advisory and oversight of Servicing/Operations/Sales/Care teams within the unit
Provide training to Servicing/Operations/Sales/Care teams based on themes and trends of issues.
Partner closely with cross functional Compliance, Product Management and Development teams to implement product changes as a result of issues.
Engage with state regulators in responding to inquiries as well as participating in periodic regulatory audits.
Driving regular audits of 3rd party partners to ensure compliance to contractual obligations, regulation and ensure high customer satisfaction.
Helping drive the mindset that Compliance is a strategic advantage, enabling growth and customer delight.
Bachelor’s Degree with 10+ years professional experience, MBA preferred, or equivalent experience.
CFE, CIA, CRCM, or other professional certifications preferred.
5+ years’ experience in an in-house legal or compliance department preferred.
Strong knowledge of commercial or consumer lending, including familiarity with ECOA, FCRA, TILA, FDCPA, UDAP, GLBA/Privacy, OFAC and 3rd party vendor management.
Proven experience working with cross-functional teams to implement effective compliance controls and programs.
Excellent communication, interpersonal and writing skills. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently – self-starter, enthusiastic and highly motivated.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to exercise sound and balanced judgment.
