Our client is a leader among global investment managers specializing in alternative investments, with $153 billion in assets under management as of March 31, 2021. The firm emphasizes an opportunistic, value-oriented, and risk-controlled approach to investments in credit, private equity, real assets, and listed equities. The firm has over 1,000 employees and offices in 19 cities worldwide.
Manage valuation process include analyzing/determining scope of work, and preparing and reviewing valuation models
Value a wide range of investments of various property types (office, hotel, industrial and residential)
Prepare and present valuation results in a clear and concise manner.
Manage multiple internal and external data collection workflows.
Ensure consistent application of valuation metrics over the course of investment life and across all funds/investments.
Analyze and develop investment assumptions related to the current business plans/valuations
Ability to identify inconsistencies throughout various data inputs received from different functions within the organization
Balance a large number of projects.
Expertise in discounted cash flow (Argus and MS Excel), Sales Comparison Approach, and Cost Approach.
10-15 years of commercial real estate asset and security valuation experience within valuation/appraisal, Big 4, or another financial advisory firm.
In-depth security valuation and real estate knowledge and experience.
Strong modeling skills.
Ability to efficiently handle multiple demands and priorities under tight deadlines.
Proficiency in Argus Enterprise software.
Business valuation experience is a plus but not required.
Valuation experience in Europe and Asia a plus but not required.
Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Accounting, Finance or Economics.
