The Position

As Programme Manager, you will play a central role in our Computational Science function, enabling strategy execution and operational excellence across a global portfolio of projects. This position is ideal for a candidate with a strong background in strategy consulting, life sciences R&D, and program management, who thrives in a dynamic, multicultural, and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive execution of strategic and operational initiatives within the Computational Science Leadership Team, ensuring impactful outcomes across a diverse R&D portfolio.
• Act as the anchor of cross-functional initiatives, supporting scientific delivery by developing frameworks, steering project implementation, and managing reporting cycles.
• Oversee portfolio management, implementing tools and methodologies for planning, prioritization, and progress tracking of high-priority scientific investments.
• Translate complex scientific and business insights into clear, data-driven presentations for senior leadership and stakeholders.
• Collaborate globally across Computational Science and wider R&D, engaging with internal and external partners to identify priorities, address needs, and enable decision-making.
• Serve as a key liaison for Computational Science activities within the broader organization, representing the function with clarity and impact.

  
Requirements

• Postgraduate degree in life sciences, computational biology, or a related biomedical field.
• Significant experience in strategy consulting, programme management, or similar roles within pharma/biotech.
• Solid understanding of drug development and pharmaceutical R&D processes.
• Strong affinity for computational science, AI/ML, and data-driven approaches in drug discovery.
• Proven track record of project management, analytical problem-solving, and organizational leadership.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to simplify complexity and drive alignment.
• Proactive, collaborative, and comfortable interacting across multi-disciplinary, global teams.
