Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced ADMS Consultant to support the implementation, integration, and optimization of Advanced Distribution Management Systems for utility clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in power systems, SCADA, DMS, OMS, and related technologies. They will work closely with clients to analyze requirements, configure solutions, and ensure seamless deployment of ADMS to enhance grid operations and reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead or assist in the design, implementation, and integration of ADMS solutions for utility companies.
- Work with stakeholders to gather requirements, define technical specifications, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Configure and customize ADMS software to meet operational needs, including SCADA, DMS, and OMS functionalities.
- Provide technical expertise in grid operations, real-time control systems, and outage management.
- Collaborate with IT and engineering teams to ensure smooth data migration, system interfacing, and cybersecurity compliance.
- Conduct testing, troubleshooting, and performance optimization of ADMS solutions.
- Provide training and support to end-users and internal teams.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies in smart grid and ADMS solutions.
Required Qualifications: - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience working with ADMS, SCADA, EMS, or related utility systems.
- Strong knowledge of power distribution networks, grid automation, and real-time system monitoring.
- Experience with ADMS vendors such as GE, Schneider Electric, Siemens, or Oracle.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, or scripting languages for data analysis and automation is a plus.
- Familiarity with communication protocols (DNP3, IEC 61850, Modbus, etc.).
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications: - Experience with cloud-based ADMS solutions.
- Knowledge of GIS, DERMS, or IoT integration in power systems.
- Industry certifications in SCADA/ADMS platforms.
