Job Summary:
The Market Intelligence and Analytics Manager is responsible for ongoing monitoring, analysis, and summarization of energy market dynamics—including regulatory, policy, legislative, technical, financial, emerging technologies, and competitive factors—to inform and enhance project development strategy and planning.
Essential Functions:

• Conduct in-depth surveillance of energy market dynamics, ensuring awareness of emerging shifts or trends in the industry.
• Analyze market data to uncover trends, opportunities, and challenges, ensuring insights drive company strategy and operations.
• Stay updated with regulatory changes, interpreting their impact on the energy sector and strategic positioning.
• Monitor new legislative actions affecting the renewable energy market, communicating implications, and suggesting potential responses.
• Integrate technical market dynamics into strategic decision-making, ensuring the technical perspective is well-represented.
• Assess financial factors, including tariffs, subsidies, and market incentives, to predict their influence on future projects.
• Evaluate the competitive landscape, identifying key players, analyzing strategies, and assessing opportunities or threats.
• Provide actionable insights to refine and evolve the company’s market strategy in a dynamic environment.
• Support project development planning with market-driven analysis to align with current and future energy sector trends.
• Generate detailed reports and presentations, summarizing market intelligence findings and their strategic implications.
• Engage with industry stakeholders, attending conferences, forums, and meetings to gain market insights and enhance the company’s industry presence.
• Collaborate with internal teams to align market analysis with broader business strategy.
• Stay informed on emerging tools, methodologies, and best practices in market intelligence and analytics.
• Identify potential risks in the market landscape, conduct risk assessments, and provide recommendations for mitigation.
• Conduct ad hoc research on special topics to support decision-making.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, Science, or a related field; a Master’s degree in Business Administration or Market Analysis is a plus.
• Minimum of three (3+) years of experience in market intelligence, analytics, or a related role, preferably within the renewable energy sector.
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently on projects and deliverables.
• Advanced proficiency with MS Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
• Strong research and analytical skills with the ability to convey conclusions and recommendations effectively.
• Familiarity with the regulatory and legislative environment related to the renewable energy sector.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with experience producing reports and presenting findings to senior leadership.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to translate market insights into actionable business strategies.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across departments and foster a team-oriented environment.
