This is an exceptional opportunity to make a difference in the veteran community.
RSL Queensland is the largest ex-service organisation in Queensland – providing practical support, assistance and camaraderie to veterans, current serving Defence members, and their families across the state and nationally.
Our mission is to provide care, commemoration and camaraderie to enable veterans and their families to live with dignity and respect – it is our guiding light and underpins all that we do.
RSLQ supports current and ex-serving Defence Force members and families through our mental health and physical rehabilitation services, skills-based recovery programs, and social connection activities. Services are delivered in person through purpose-built Veteran & Family Wellbeing Centres and online across Queensland, Tasmania and the Northern Territory.
As a key member of our multidisciplinary Mates4Mates’ team, you’ll deliver evidence-based and informed treatments to veterans and their families to address their psychological support needs. Through the provision of therapy and group skills development services within scope of practice, this role reports directly to our Clinical Lead – Psychological Services.
You’ll be a tactical thinker and accountable for undertaking psychological assessments with clients, through to designing, evaluating and implementing tailored evidence-based therapies to support positive outcomes.
