RSL Queensland (RSLQ) is a dynamic, not-for-profit organisation delivering innovative programs and initiatives that support veterans and their families.  

Our Growth & Transformation (G&T) department drives new growth and revenue opportunities to ensure the long-term sustainability of RSLQ, as well as delivering its transformation project.

As G&T embarks on a significant business transformation journey as part of our 2023 Strategy with the delivery of the Lotteries Digital Blueprint (LDB) project, one goal remains central: to improve and contemporise our Art Union’s digital customer experience.  

Reporting to the LBD Project Director, you’ll drive and monitor the Test Strategy and Plan for the project, working with stakeholders to ensure all testing in the plan is successfully completed to standard.  

Key responsibilities include (though not limited to): 

• Ensure testing is delivered in adherence to the RSLQ Enterprise Test Strategy Playbook  
• Coordinate in an iterative development environment to deliver successful testing solutions 
• Champion all testing disciplines, incorporating system, and regression testing requirements by using the right tools and techniques.  
• Ensure accurate definition and execution of test planning activities, incorporating test approach, risk analysis, security, performance considerations, estimation and resource utilisation.  
• Ensure testing approach considers both business and technical requirements and end to end testing is performed to consider the integrated changes.

About you:  

• Tertiary degree in IT or related field  
• At least 5+ years’ experience in a testing role.  
• At least 2+ years in a senior testing role.  
• Demonstrable experience in applying testing methodologies in an Agile and Lean context. 
• Experience in testing high volume transactional systems.  
• Advanced planning, prioritisation, and communication skills.
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills.  
• Experience with Azure DevOps (or similar) as a sprint and test management tool.
