The Wellbeing Practitioner focuses on building therapeutic relationships with veterans and their family by partnering them with local agencies, health practitioners, Government departments, and other ex-service organisations. By responding to and working with our ex-service community, you will be empowering veterans to achieve positive and sustainable outcomes.
Our multi-disciplined Wellbeing team also plays an active role in supporting its local community by promoting our services and building important relationships with other community members.
Accountabilities include:
- Working with veterans and their families within our homelessness and financial hardship programs.
- Assessing clients and preparing case management plans that support an outcomes-based approach to veteran wellbeing.

To be competitive for this opportunity, you'll bring:
- completed Degree qualification in Humanities/Arts (Social Welfare) or Health Sciences or Social Science or similar, along with a minimum of 3-5 years' experience in a relevant position
- extensive knowledge and experience in Strength-based Case Management
- aptitude for and interest in completing your ATDP or MILADW001 in Welfare
- proficiency in planning and managing client workloads across highly sensitive environments
- ability to rapidly build rapport and trust.
