About the role:
The People & Organisational Performance department is the proud guardian of RSL Queensland’s people, brand, and reputation. The Executive Assistant role within People & Organisational Performance delivers administration and business support to enable the roles of General Manager – Marketing and Communications and additional administrative and business support to the business unit leaders of People & Organisational Performance. Reporting to the Senior Executive Assistant, People & Organisational Performance
Some of the key accountabilities include:
- Forward planning, monitoring and coordinating an annual calendar of commitments to ensure business unit leaders are well prepared and meet all deadlines
- Triage business unit leaders call, emails, and correspondence, proactively determining significance and managing distribution
- Implement and oversee departmental budgets, including monitoring project budgets and financial performance, managing invoicing, and reconciliation of credit cards and expense claims.
- Coordinate and manage business unit events, meetings, and functions
- Arrange travel, accommodation and itineraries
- Record minutes of meetings and maintain meeting action registers
About you:
- 5+ years’ recent experience in providing senior-level executive support in a high paced team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to provide quality service to both internal and external clients and ability to relate appropriately with senior leaders.
- The ability to work autonomously, with limited direction or supervision.
- Ability to conceptualise and draft communications and presentations.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and effectively plan and manage role responsibilities.
- Strong attention to detail and high degree of accuracy, with proficient grammar and spelling.
