About the role:
The People & Organisational Performance department (POP) is the proud guardian of RSL Queensland’s people, brand, and reputation. The role has ownership of the digital platforms of RSL Queensland to ensure these are developed, measured and delivered effectively to connect with our core audiences. These audiences include Queensland’s defence family (comprising serving and ex-serving ADF members and their families); RSL Queensland’s members, District offices and Sub-branches; partner ex-service organisations (ESOs) and other partner organisations; RSL National and other RSL state branches; and the general population for the purposes of fundraising.
Some of the key accountabilities include:
- Playing a key role in the delivery of RSL Queensland’s digital strategy to support the core objectives focused on connecting veterans, veteran support, membership growth and commemoration.
- Providing strategic direction on the use of digital platforms to ensure RSL Queensland retains a digital ecosystem that is fit for purpose and best in market.
- Defining, establishing and managing RSL Queensland’s digital processes to ensure clear workflows and clear roles and responsibilities.
- Focusing on ongoing development, growth and continual functionality improvement for all digital assets.
- Managing and liaising with various stakeholders across product and project teams to deliver suitable technical website solutions that fit organisational requirements set out by the business owner.
About you:
- Tertiary qualifications in Marketing or related fields.
- 3-4 years’ experience in Marketing or similar industries.
- 2+ years in a similar role with strong digital marketing background.
- Basic HTML, CSS and JavaScript skills.
- Strong knowledge of best use SEO and SEM practices
- Ideally possess a solid workplace knowledge of Sitecore’s 9.2 Experience Platform, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Looker Studio and Microsoft Power BI.
