RSL Queensland is a dynamic, not-for-profit organisation delivering innovative programs and initiatives that support veterans and their families. After more than a century, our purpose – to provide care, commemoration and camaraderie – is as strong as ever.
With Australia’s most successful prize home lottery backing us, we’re able to provide life-changing support services, fund world-first research, and use state-of-the-art tech to help more veterans in better ways. As a member of our team, you’ll have access to advanced technology, skilled co-workers, interesting projects and initiatives, and the opportunity to expand your career.
And most importantly, you’ll be making a real difference in veterans’ and their families’ lives.
Why work at RSL Queensland. Open, flexible, supportive, empowering - they’re some of things our team love most about RSL Queensland. Depending on your role, you’ll have the tools and flexibility to work in a hybrid way that balances your lifestyle and the requirements of the team.

- Extensive training/development opportunities
- Bring your whole authentic self to work each day and be part of a supportive environment
- You’re gifted 3 additional days of leave at Christmas!

Now, a bit about the role: Due to impending parental leave, a fixed term 14-month opportunity is now open. Reporting to our Head of Digital Engagement, the Digital Engagement Partner role is the conduit and manages the relationship between Digital Business Solutions (DBS) and its internal customers. You’ll support the business areas with projects and initiatives that require digital delivery at the ideation and discovery stage and support the communications and interactions between DBS and its customers. Importantly, you'll ensure consistent, quality value is delivered to internal customers by ensuring the work and interactions meet the needs of our stakeholders.
A natural problem-solver and people-connector, you’ll play a key role in enabling the prioritisation and planning of business initiatives that require digital delivery as you embrace and embed “end-to-end thinking” along the way.
What’s required to succeed: - Tertiary degree qualifications in Technology or Business (or similar) are essential
- Depth of experience partnering with senior stakeholders within complex enterprise settings
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to identify, capture and articulate high level business requirements, risks and dependencies with confidence
- Ability to rapidly build and maintain trust in all relationships and interactions, and the nous to navigate barriers to organisational success in environments where change is the constant
- Sharp and proven negotiation skills, and the ability to influence without authority
- Experience working with Agile software delivery teams and delivery managers is preferable
- Business Analyst or Product Management capabilities are desirable
- Background in similar industry sectors would be great, but not essential (e.g. Lotteries, Defence, Emergency Services or NFP).
Embracing collaboration and innovation, we work as one to lead the change veterans need. We’re not afraid to go the extra mile or seek better ways of doing things. We look out for each other; we value all voices and respect perspectives that may differ from our own; and everything we do, we do with heart.
If this is an opportunity that excites you, please apply today. We’ll close applications when we find the right person, so act today.
