Support Officer – Operations Services

Guma-Warnii Resources is seeking an experienced Support Officer in Operations Services for a fantastic contract opportunity based in Northam.

This is an excellent chance to utilise your administration and coordination skills within a busy regional office, supporting day-to-day business operations and ensuring the smooth delivery of essential administrative services.

About the Role

As the Support Officer – Operations Services, you'll provide a broad range of administrative and business support functions, helping the regional team operate efficiently. Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing general administrative support across the regional office
• Coordinating mobile phone and desk phone fleet administration
• Preparing meeting minutes and tracking action items
• Supporting regional workplace health and safety (WHS/OSH) administration
• Managing office administration tasks, including visitor inductions, building access, ID cards, key management, and meeting room facilities
• Coordinating office stationery, equipment hire, and general office supplies
• Responding to and referring general customer enquiries
• Procuring goods and services, including purchasing card transactions
• Raising sundry accounts
• Coordinating office maintenance, service contracts, repairs, and consumables
• Managing incoming and outgoing mail and correspondence
• Providing administrative support to regional teams as required

About You

• A qualification in Business Administration or a related discipline, or equivalent experience in a business support or administration role
• Experience working within a large, multi-disciplinary or commercially focused organisation
• Sound knowledge of business administration processes and practices
• Strong proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience using procurement or purchasing management systems
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• A proactive approach with a strong focus on customer service and teamwork
