Plumber / Leading Hand – Wastewater Infrastructure Projects (DIDO)

Help deliver critical wastewater infrastructure projects across Western Australia.

We're seeking an experienced Qualified Plumber who is ready to step into a Leading Hand role for an upcoming wastewater plant upgrade at Newmont Boddington. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing team with ongoing work available across future projects.

Location: Boddington, WA
Roster: DIDO (Drive-In, Drive-Out) – Monday to Friday
Accommodation: Supplied during the working week
Start Date: Early August 2026
Pay Rates: $70 - $80 per hour

About the Role

You'll be working on essential wastewater infrastructure projects, including:

• Installation of new wastewater tanks
• Upgrades to existing wastewater treatment infrastructure
• Pipework installation and associated mechanical works
• Leading a small crew while remaining hands-on with the work
• Maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality and productivity

About You

To be successful in this role, you'll have:

• WA Plumbing Licence
• Previous experience in commercial, civil or industrial plumbing
• Experience leading or supervising small crews, or the confidence to step into a Leading Hand role
• Strong communication and people management skills
• A commitment to safety and quality workmanship
• Polywelding certification (highly regarded but not essential)

We're looking for someone who enjoys working on the tools while also taking responsibility for coordinating daily site activities and supporting their team. This role offers the opportunity to establish yourself as a trusted Leading Hand and continue into future wastewater infrastructure projects across Western Australia.

Project Duration

Monday to Friday DIDO from Early August to 4 September 2026.
