We are seeking experienced Formwork Carpenters and Concreters to join our team for an upcoming FMG shutdown project. This is a high-paying, short-duration opportunity with excellent hourly rates and nightshift uplift.

Project Overview

• Pre-works commence: 1st February
• Shutdown duration: 10 days
• Post works complete: 3rd March

Swing Details:

• 1st Crew: Fly out 4th February
  
  • 1 week day shift
  • 1 week night shift (25% uplift)
• 2nd Crew: Fly out 11th February
• Post works: Covered by available personnel from Crew 1

Scope of Work

• Concrete and formwork works
• Pouring concrete
• Forming slabs and walls
• Steel fixing
• Core drilling
• Mixing and pouring grout
• Wash down of fixed plant
• Manual labour tasks
• Spotting duties

Rates:

Carpenters

• $70/hr - $78/hr depending on experience

Concreters

• $65/hr - $70/hr depending on experience

We also have opportunities for Operators on this shut. 

• Night Shift: +25% uplift
• Superannuation: 12% on all hours worked
• Paid Hours: Typically 11.5 hours per shift
• 5:30am – 5:30pm (or night shift equivalent)

Roster & Pay

• Roster: 2-week shutdown
• 1 week days / 1 week nights
• Pay Cycle: Weekly
• Pay period: Monday – Sunday
• Timesheets due Sunday
• Paid Wednesdays

Requirements

• Relevant experience in formwork and/or concreting
• White Card
• FMG Inductions Required:
• 12 x online inductions
• 1.5-hour face-to-face induction in Perth City

Tickets & Licenses:

• Trade qualifications 
• RII machinery tickets if operating equipment
• Relevant HR Driver’s License (if required)
