Job Description :
Our Client, ESM Resources, is a Mobile Equipment Hire company dedicated to providing hire solutions for the Civil, Construction and Mining industries with branches located in Perth, Newman, Port Hedland and Karratha.
Due to continued growth, we are currently seeking an enthusiastic, self-motivated Accounts Officer that will work alongside the Group General and Operation Managers.
The role is full time Monday to Friday and is based in the Perth Head Office – located in Osborne Park.
Essential Skills and Experience
- Minimum 5 years previous experience in an Accounts Payable or Accounts Receivable role
- Thorough understanding of accounting principles including reconciliations and reporting
- Highly organised and pro-active with multi–tasking skills, a keen eye for detail and very accurate data entry skills. Accuracy is a must
- Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment, ability to work independently and complete tasks within a given time frame
- High level of computer literacy, effective competency in written, interpersonal and verbal communication skills
- Computer skills with high proficiency in MYOB, MYOB Advanced and Excel
- Positive and professional attitude
- Ability to communicate effectively with other staff members
Duties and Responsibilities – Your role will include but not limited to: - Accurate and timely processing of accounts payable and accounts receivable records / invoices
- Verify invoices and allocate purchase orders; confirm receipt of goods / services
- Ensure all purchase orders are correctly allocated and maintained
- Verify financial data
- Handling general supplier enquiries, credit requests etc.
- Undertake end of month processes and related reconciliations - reconciling Supplier Invoices to Statements
- Record management
- Provide administration support - Adhoc assistance for management
- General office duties: filing and file management, Email management and correspondence with clients
