We’re seeking an experienced HR professional to lead the People function across the APAC region.

This is a highly autonomous role, where you’ll be responsible for delivering comprehensive HR support and initiatives across Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong, Japan, Singapore, and Korea. As a key member of the APAC Senior Leadership team, you will work closely with the Managing Director and Regional Finance, providing expert advice on all HR matters and reporting to Head Quarters in the US.

This a role with a mix of operational, hands-on approach while providing long-term P&C initiatives to support the APAC leaders within the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Industrial & Employment Relations: Provide employment relations advice, manage disciplinary cases, and lead union relationship efforts.
• Learning & Development: Utilise HR training budgets to address capability gaps and support career development within the region.
• Workforce Planning & Recruitment: Advise on workforce planning, manage recruitment processes, and drive resourcing plans to meet business needs.
• Health, Safety & Wellbeing: Lead health and safety efforts and design/implement wellbeing programs for the APAC region.
• Payroll & Benefits: Approve payroll runs, manage employee benefits, and provide backup payroll support when necessary.
• HR Administration & Compliance: Oversee onboarding, offboarding, employee changes, and local HR policies across the region, ensuring compliance and data integrity in HRIS and managing HR budget.

Key Selection Criteria:

• Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Psychology, or related fields are highly regarded.
• Extensive experience providing HR advice across areas such as employee relations, performance management, remuneration, recruitment and wellbeing.
• Demonstrated ability to manage stakeholders and resolve complex people issues while influencing decision-making processes.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with a proven track record in HR documentation, project management, and reporting.
• Ability to collaborate effectively, contribute to team goals, and navigate a fast-paced, changing environment.
