Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent position.
Hours of Work: Guaranteed a minimum of 40 hours per week, on a rotating roster, including weekends from Monday - Sunday.
Shift Times: 11:00pm - 7:30am
Wage Rate: $27 per hour

Are you a night owl with a passion for hospitality and a knack for leadership? Look no further! Scenic Suites & Heartland Hotel Queenstown is seeking a dedicated Night Porter to oversee our operations during the night-time hours.
*This role combines Night Porter duties with occasional Night Manager responsibilities, stepping in when the current Night Manager is on leave*
Key Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Oversight of night shifts, including meeting and greeting guests arriving late, assisting with guest luggage, security, and administrative tasks.
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally.
- Oversight of security of the hotel property, and reporting any incidents or concerns to Management.
- Perform night audit and reconcile transactions from the Front Office and Food & Beverage departments. Locate and correct any discrepancies.
- taking late night room service orders to guests.
- Prepare Front Office for the morning shift, and clean the reception and public areas.
Preferred Skills & Experience: - 2 years relevant experience in a Front Office, or customer service role.
- An LCQ qualification, current Managers Certificate, and a current First Aid certificate would be advantageous.
- A full NZ Drivers License.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations.
