This is a Full-Time position with the precise hours to be determined by a roster. You will be guaranteed a minimum of 40 hours per week (Monday - Sunday)

This dynamic and pivotal role within the hotel's operations! Heavily involved in the Food & Beverage & Front of House departments with a diverse range of responsibilities, from team coordination to ensuring quality standards and guest satisfaction. Here's a breakdown of the key task & responsibilities:
- Team Management: Supervising the Food & Beverage team, assigning tasks, maintaining schedules, and handling hiring and training. As well as ensuring all aspects of the Front of House department run smoothly.
- Collaboration: Working closely with the GM and Head of departments.
- Quality Assurance: Implementing and managing food safety programs, strategizing improvements, and overseeing menus. Ensure high standard of service is offered in Front Office and accommodations.
- Financial Management: Optimizing expenditure, handling stocktaking for both Food & Beverage, and recommending cost-reducing strategies. Undertaking full responsibility for stock takes, budget, profit & loss, rostering, payroll, operating expenses for the Front of House department.
- Continuous Improvement: Identifying areas for improvement in all departments, recommending enhancements, and ensuring training aligns with service standards.
- Customer Focus: Building a customer-oriented team, overseeing staff during shifts, and resolving grievances to minimize turnover.
- Leadership: Providing leadership in the absence of the Hotel Manager, coordinating with Front Office during busy times, and ensuring compliance with Health & Safety standards.
- Process Improvement: Leading initiatives to enhance systems and processes across the entire hotel operation.
- Compliance: Ensuring adherence to policies, procedures, and operational standards.
- Professionalism: Maintaining professionalism and complying with requests from higher management.
Skills, Experience & Qualifications Required - Extensive industry experience across all operational hotel departments
- At least three years experience at a Head of Department level or in a Senior Management position
- 3-5 years relevant Food & Beverage experience
- Relevant tertiary qualification in hospitality or related field (Desirable)
- Current LCQ License (Required)
