Employment Type: Full-Time Permanent Position.
Hours of Work: Guaranteed a minimum of 30 hours per week, on a rotating roster, including weekends from Monday - Sunday. 
Wage Rate: $26 - $29 per hour depending on experience

The Chef de Partie role offers variety, and is the ideal opportunity for an experienced culinary professional looking to take the next step in their career.
 
Key Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Preparation, cooking and serving of food for service.
• Preparation, cooking and serving of staff meals.
• Ensuring that all food is served and stored at the correct temperature to meet hotel standards and kitchen guidelines.
• Clean and sanitise work areas, equipment, utensils and dishes.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth kitchen operations during service.
• Follow all sanitation and hygienic food handling procedures set out by legislation and hotel policy.

Preferred Skills & Experience:

• 3-5 years experience in a commercial kitchen environment.
• 1-2 years experience in a similar role (preferred)
• A certificate at NZQF Level 4, or higher, in Cookery.
• A current Food Handling Certificate.
• Passion for food and dedication to delivering high-quality dishes.
• Flexible in availability to work rotating roster 
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn 
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
