Employment Type: Part-Time, Permanent position.
Hours of Work: Guaranteed a minimum of 20 hours per week, on a rotating roster, including weekends from Monday - Sunday.
Wage Rate: $24.50 - $25 per hour

Valet Porters are often the face of our hotel by greeting our guests when the arrive at the hotel, and assisting guests with valet carparking.
Key Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Greeting guests at Reception and assisting with guest's luggage
- Attending to guest needs on arrival and departure
- Assisting guest's with valet car parking, safely managing guests' vehicles and ensuring a prompt return upon their request.
- Taking a proactive approach to cleaning the reception and public areas
- Provide information and assistance to guests regarding local attractions, restaurants, and activities.
- Deliver room service orders, and clear trays from guest rooms.
- Assisting with administrative tasks such as receiving and sorting mail.
- Assisting with other Front Office duties as required.
Preferred Skills & Experience: - At least 1 year experience in a similar hospitality role.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Fit and able to lift heavy suitcases.
- Confident in their driving abilities i.e. parking guest cars.
- Ability to drive both automatic and manual vehicles.
- *Full NZ drivers licence is required*
- Available to work mornings, evenings, and weekends.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
