Hotel: Legacy Airedale Hotel Auckland 
Location: 380 Queen Street, Auckland CBD 
Employment Type: Part-time, permanent position. 
Hours of Work: Guaranteed a minimum of 20-25 hours per week, working on a rotating roster Monday through Sunday.

As a Bartender at Legacy Airedale Hotel Auckland, you’ll be at the heart of the action, serving cocktails, beer, wine to our guests. If you’re confident, personable and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, with a can-do attitude and a genuine passion for great service, we’d love to hear from you!

Key Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Provide excellent customer service with a bit of personality and flair! 
• Shake, stir and serve cocktails, along with wine, beer, spirits, and other beverages.
• Assist with bar setup and pack down, including restocking fridges and rotating stock.
• Recommend drinks and menu items and confidently answer guest questions about our food and beverage offerings.
• Keep the bar and dining areas clean, organised, well-stocked and ready for service.
• Collecting payments from sales and operating the point of sale system and cash register.
• Follow responsible service of alcohol, food safety and hotel procedures.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff, and other team members to ensure seamless service and efficient operations.
• Assist with additional duties reasonably required by the Restaurant Manager, or Hotel Manager.

Preferred Skills & Experience:

• Minimum of 12 months experience in a similar role 
• Confident knowledge of cocktails, wines, beers and spirits.
• Have a passion for creating extraordinary and innovative cocktails.
• Comfortable recommending and promoting our food and beverage offerings.
• An LCQ qualification and a relevant tertiary qualification in hospitality or related field would be an advantage.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
