Dates: October 2026 - March 2027
Hours of Work: Guaranteed a minimum of 30 hours per week, rotating roster, including weekends.
Wage Rate: $26.00 - $27.50 per hour

Key Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Overseeing the day-to-day operation of teams in the Food & Beverage department, including making sure team members understand their allocated tasks.
- Providing supervision, training and guidance to Food & Beverage Attendants.
- Preparing and serving a range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, beer and wine.
- Preparing quality barista-style coffees and maintaining a high standard of coffee service.
- Taking responsibility for the bar operation, including setting up, restocking, cleaning and maintaining an organised and well-presented bar.
- Greeting and seating guests. Taking orders and relaying them to the kitchen and bar staff.
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues to ensure a positive experience.
- Communicate daily specials, promotions, and relevant information to the team.
- Taking a proactive approach to sanitising and cleaning the restaurant.
- Collecting payments for sales and operating the point of sale system and cash register.
- Assisting with any additional duties requested by the Food & Beverage Operations Manager, or Hotel Manager.
Preferred Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 1 year of hands-on bar experience is required.
- Confident cocktail-making skills, with a good knowledge of common cocktails and drink preparation.
- Barista experience and the ability to confidently prepare quality coffees.
- Strong knowledge of bar service, including beer, wine and spirits.
- An LCQ qualification and Duty Manager's Certificate would be an advantage.
- Relevant tertiary qualification in hospitality or a related field would be an advantage.
- Passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- A confident, hands-on approach and the ability to lead by example.
