Hours of Work: Guaranteed a minimum of 30 hours per week. 
Wage Rate: $28.00 - $31.00

The Chef de Partie role offers variety working across a newly refurbished kitchen! This position is ideal for someone who wants to experience the charm of the wild and scenic West Coast.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Assisting with the preparation, cooking and serving of food for service.
• Assisting with the preparation, cooking and serving of staff meals.
• Ensuring that all food is served and stored at the correct temperature to meet hotel standards and kitchen guidelines.
• Clean and sanitise work areas, equipment, utensils and dishes.
• Follow all sanitation and hygienic food handling procedures set out by legislation and hotel policy.

Skills, Experience & Qualifications Preferred:

• 1-2 years experience in a similar role (preferred), and
• A certificate at NZQF Level 4 would be an advantage. 
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Positive attitude with a willingness to learn. 
• Flexible and availability to work morning and evening shifts including weekends.
