Location: 123 Princes Street, Central Dunedin
Employment Type: Full-Time & Part-Time opportunities available
Guaranteed Minimum Hours: 20–30 hours per week (depending on business levels)
Hours of Work: Night shifts from 10:30pm – 7:00am, working on a rotating roster Monday to Sunday, including weekends.

This Night Auditor position offers the opportunity to take ownership of the hotel during overnight shifts. You'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the hotel, completing nightly audit procedures, maintaining the security of the property, and delivering exceptional service to our overnight guests.
Key Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Welcome guests by completing late check-ins, early check-outs, and providing exceptional overnight customer service
- Work independently as the sole person on duty during night shifts
- Oversee hotel security and respond to incidents or guest needs overnight
- Complete night audit functions, including financial reconciliation of Front Office and Food & Beverage transactions
- Identify and resolve discrepancies in accounts and reporting
- Prepare daily reports and ensure accurate system balancing
- Schedule guest wake-up calls
- Prepare Front Office for the morning shift, clean and maintain reception and public areas ensuring they are tidy and well presented
- Assist with wider Front Office duties as required by management
Preferred Skills & Experience - 1-2 years’ Front Office or experience in a hotel environment
- LCQ qualification and current Manager’s Certificate preferred
- First Aid certificate preferred
- Full NZ Driver Licence required
- Strong financial and basic accounting ability
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Confident working independently on night shift
- Strong communication and leadership skills would be advantageous
- Flexible availability across a rotating roster
