Hotel: Legacy Airedale Hotel Auckland 
Location: 380 Queen Street, Auckland CBD 
Employment Type: Part-time, permanent position. 
Hours of Work: Guaranteed minimum of 20 hours per week, working on a rotating roster Monday to Sunday.
Shift times: Early morning starts from 6:00am, primarily breakfast service
Wage: $27- $28 per hour

This opportunity is ideal for an experienced Chef de Partie ready to step into a hands-on role within a small, professional team, with a strong focus on the breakfast shift.
 
Key Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Preparation, cooking and serving of food for service.
• Preparation, cooking and serving of staff meals.
• Ensuring that all food is served and stored at the correct temperature to meet hotel standards and kitchen guidelines.
• Clean and sanitise work areas, equipment, utensils and dishes.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth kitchen operations during service.
• Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations during service and support colleagues where needed.
• Follow all sanitation and hygienic food handling procedures set out by legislation and hotel policy.
• assist with any additional duties required by the Head Chef or Hotel Manager.

Preferred Skills & Experience:

• A minimum of 2-3 years experience in a senior kitchen role preferred.
• A certificate at NZQF Level 4, or higher, in Cookery.
• A current Food Handling Certificate.
• Passion for food and dedication to delivering high-quality dishes.
• Flexible in availability to work rotating roster 
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn, and a strong team player mindset.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
