Do you have the leadership skills and operational expertise to run a successful Food & Beverage department? At Scenic Hotel Bay of Islands, you’ll lead a talented team, drive service excellence, and oversee smooth, high-performing operations.
Key Tasks & Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate the Food & Beverage team
- Oversee daily operations and service standards
- Manage rosters, attendance, and staff training
- Collaborate with the Head/Executive Chef on service goals
- Plan, budget, and assist with seasonal menus
- Recommend and implement operational improvements
- Deliver orientation and training for new team members
- Monitor staff performance and guest focus
- Address staff issues and support retention
Skills, Experience & Qualifications Required
- 3–5 years F&B experience, including 2+ years in a management role
- Current LCQ and ability to maintain GM Certificate
- Proven leadership and people management skills
- Strong operational and data-driven decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
