Hotel: Legacy Airedale Hotel Auckland
Location: 380 Queen Street, Auckland CBD
Employment Type: Full-time, permanent position.
Hours of Work: Guaranteed minimum of 30 hours per week, on a rotating roster, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and occasional split shifts.
Wage: $28 - $30 per hour (depending on experience)

This opportunity is ideal for an experienced Chef de Partie ready to step into a hands-on role within a small, professional team.
Key Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Preparation, cooking and serving of food for service.
- Preparation, cooking and serving of staff meals.
- Ensuring that all food is served and stored at the correct temperature to meet hotel standards and kitchen guidelines.
- Clean and sanitise work areas, equipment, utensils and dishes.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth kitchen operations during service.
- Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations during service and support colleagues where needed.
- Follow all sanitation and hygienic food handling procedures set out by legislation and hotel policy.
- assist with any additional duties required by the Head Chef or Hotel Manager.
Preferred Skills & Experience: - A minimum of 2-3 years experience in a senior kitchen role preferred.
- A certificate at NZQF Level 4, or higher, in Cookery.
- A current Food Handling Certificate.
- Passion for food and dedication to delivering high-quality dishes.
- Flexible in availability to work rotating roster
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn, and a strong team player mindset.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
