Hours of Work: Guaranteed 40 hours per week, on a rotating roster, including weekends.
Wage Rate: $29 - $32 per hour

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Executive Assistant Housekeeping Manager to join our team !
In this key leadership role, you’ll support the Executive Housekeeping Manager in ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation across all guest rooms and public areas. You'll be passionate about maintaining a welcoming environment for our guests, while also motivating and supporting a hardworking housekeeping team.
Key Tasks & Responsibilities
- Assisting the Executive Housekeeper in oversight of the department including determining work requirements and allocation of duties.
- Preparation and maintenance of Housekeeping department rosters and attendance records.
- Oversight of day-to-day activity of Housekeeping staff, and ensuring that training is coordinated, structured, and aligned with service standards.
- Taking full responsibility of the department in the absence of the Executive Housekeeping Manager.
- Stock and inventory control, and purchasing relating to the housekeeping departments of two Hotels.
- Proactively identifying and recommending service improvements to drive departmental success.
- Spot-checking rooms with Housekeeping Supervisors to ensure that service standards are being achieved.
- Adopting a pro-active approach to cleaning of the property, and taking pride in the appearance of the property.
- Assist with any other duties reasonably required by the Executive Housekeeper or General Manager.
Preferred Skills & Experience: - A minimum of 3-4 years relevant housekeeping experience, with at least 1 year working as an Assistant Housekeeping Manager / Housekeeping Manager
- Proven people leadership skills, including coaching, performance management, and conflict resolution
- A hands-on approach and excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to lead by example and step into operational duties when required
- Flexibility to work rostered shifts, including weekends and public holidays
- A relevant tertiary qualification in hospitality or related field would be an advantage.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
