Hotel: Legacy Te Waonui Hotel Franz Josef
Hours of Work: Guaranteed a minimum of 30 hours per week. Rotating roster, including weekends.
Employment Type: Fixed-Term from October 2025 - April 2026
Wage Rate: $26.50 per hour

The Bartender role offers variety, and is an exciting opportunity for the hospitality professional looking to take their career to the next level!

Key Tasks & Responsibilities
The Bartender role will involve:

• Provide excellent customer service with a bit of personality and flair! 
• Shake, stir, and serve cocktails to guests in a timely and efficient manner
• Maintain a clean, tidy and organised bar area
• Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies 
• Collecting payments for sales and operating the point of sale system and cash register.

Skills, Experience & Qualifications Required
The successful candidate will need to have:

• Minimum of 12 months experience in a similar role 
• Knowledge of cocktails, wines and understanding of spirits.
• Willingness to be a salesperson and marketer of the outlets.
• Have a passion for creating extraordinary and innovative cocktails.
• An LCQ qualification and a relevant tertiary qualification in hospitality or related field would be an advantage.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
