Hotel: Scenic Hotel Te Pania
Location: 45 Marine Parade, Napier South, Napier 4110
Employment Type: Part-time permanent position
Hours of Work: Guaranteed a minimum of 16 hours per week, rotating roster, including weekends.
Shift times: 11:00pm - 7:30am
Wage Rate: Starting from $26 - $27 per hour

Key Tasks & Responsibilities:
- You will be the sole person in charge of supervising and overseeing the night shifts, including meeting and greeting guests arriving late.
- Responding to guest requests at night.
- Oversight of security of the hotel property, and reporting any incidents or concerns to Management.
- Perform night audit and reconcile transactions from the Front Office and Food & Beverage departments. Locate and correct any discrepancies.
- Schedule wake-up calls for guests who have requested them.
- Prepare Front Office for the morning shift, and clean the reception and public areas.
Preferred Skills & Experience: - 1-2 years relevant customer service experience.
- An LCQ qualification and DM licence is required.
- First Aid certificate is preferred.
- A full NZ Drivers License is required.
- Flexibility to cover full-time night audit when required.
- Basic accounting skills would be beneficial.
- Problem solving skills.
- Be comfortable being the sole person in charge during night shift.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
